Your Camp Coach: Taryn
I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Advanced Sports Dietitian and ISAK accredited anthropometrist with over 15 years of experience in the nutrition space.
Over the years I've worked with triathletes from complete beginners up to Kona winners in my private practice - Dietitian Approved. I was also the Sports Dietitian for Triathlon Australia for 6 years, supporting our elite team to eat and perform at their best.
I have the theory. But I also have the life experience. I've competed in triathlon myself for many years, racing all over Australia. Although now claim to be 'retired' thanks to the addition of 2 tiny little people in my life.
Endurance sports nutrition is my specialty and triathlon nutrition is my jam!
My mission is to help as many triathletes unlock their true potential with the power of nutrition. Without having to count calories, go on a 'diet' or starve themselves to get there.

What happens if I can't make it LIVE?

I recently decided to restart triathlon training that I had paused some 15 years earlier. Finding a triathlon training program was the easy part; however, finding a triathlon nutrition program was not so easy. Fortunately, I listened to a podcast about the Triathlon Nutrition Academy with Taryn as the guest. Taryn was very knowledgeable about triathlon nutrition and she had the credentials that demonstrated competence. So, I signed up for the Triathlon Nutrition Training Camp. From the Camp, I learned about daily habits every triathlete should be doing.
I have since used what I learned in Camp every day and it has improved my energy levels. I feel confident that my nutrition program is on the right track. I would recommend the Triathlon Nutrition Training Camp to anyone involved in the sport of triathlon.

After listening to the Triathlon Nutrition Academy Podcast for several months, and hearing so much about the "fourth leg" of triathlon -"Nutrition" (as Taryn puts it), I was excited to sign up for a three-day online Triathlon Nutrition Training Camp she had mentioned on her podcast, where I would learn more about developing better habits with regard to nutrition and to work towards improving my performance.
Getting to "pick her brain" during the live sessions was worth the (super inexpensive) registration fee alone. Her no-BS approach to nutrition was exactly what I needed. I quickly learned that my nutrition habits, which I thought were pretty good, were not exactly helping me reach my training goals. I didn't know what I didn't know, as they say.
I now have a much better grasp of meal planning and prep, and as a result, I am much stronger both during and after training sessions. I also feel so much more confident and excited about my upcoming races for next year as I have so much more insight into proper nutrition planning strategies and executing them successfully.
Coincidently, I enjoyed the training camp so much that I signed up for the in-depth Triathlon Nutrition Academy! The knowledge and content I have gained through Taryn's programs have been invaluable. I am sure you won't be disappointed! I certainly wasn't.
