Hi, I'm Taryn!

Advanced Sports Dietitian • Triathlete • Nutrition Nerd.

I'm here to help you eat well, train hard and smash your next goal.

For nearly two decades, I've helped age-groupers and elites fuel for performance, including six years as the Sports Dietitian for Triathlon Australia, supporting elite and paratriathletes on their journey to World Championships and Olympic qualification.

These days, my passion is working with you, the age-group triathlete juggling training, family and work. I know how it feels to train hard but still struggle with fatigue, cramping or inconsistent performance. That’s why I created Dietitian Approved: to give you the confidence and tools to fuel properly, recover faster and perform at your best.

I cut through the noise and confusion, delivering evidence-based strategies you can easily put into practice. No gimmicks, no guesswork, just real-world results.

My Philosophy 

"You can’t out-train a bad diet”

I don’t follow diets or food trends. I believe in a well balanced approach using whole foods as the basis for a healthy lifestyle.

Healthy eating doesn’t need to be hard or boring! I love to cook simple food that is full of flavour and nutritious, without spending hours slaving away in the kitchen!

Having your own individualised nutrition plan is key, whether it's a rest day, training day or race day. What works for your training buddies is not necessarily right for you. If you're sick of fumbling around in the dark, invest in your nutrition and finally start feeling great and performing at your best.
